Erotic Romance

Chicago, Illinois - Present day

In this story of a man who decides to provide women sexual services, we see the route this decision takes him and some of the women he meets.
Trevor Calhoun and Damian Adams have perfectly fine, well paying jobs in Chicago, until Damian introduces Trevor to the world of sex for money.  After one evening with a woman and getting money, Damian figures it is a great way to supplement his income.  Damian introduces his friend Trevor to the life, and they soon are advertising in the newspaper and have more after hours work than they can manage-until Trevor gets arrested for murder.
Denise Jenkins is a good, God-fearing woman, a staple at Mount Calvary First Baptist Church.  However, once a month "Steve" comes and Denise can't resist the sin of sex with him.
Paige has had a mastectomy, and after her boyfriend left her, she's afraid of intimacy with a man.
Naomi is married to Greg, and two-minute sex leaves her frustrated and defeated.  She really wants sex with her husband, but sometimes other things must be considered.
Agnes enjoys control, and being in charge of sex gives her power.
Marissa is married to Toby, a man who she is afraid of, constantly checks up on her and treats her like dirt.  She is saving her money to leave him, until she sees an ad in the newspaper.
Trevor's life is shown servicing his clients, until he is accused of murder.  Damian calls Trevor's friend Olivia and her boyfriend Desmond, and what happens next will show the path of everyone's life as they all go through radical changes.
All these secondary characters flesh out QUENCH MY THIRST which is definitely character driven and it is so easy to see why the course Trevor took had paths he never expected to take.
QUENCH MY THIRST is a fast-paced, interesting novel with lots of hot sex, a fascinating story, and well worth your previous reading time.  Five hundred dollars was all it took to make a woman's dreams come true.

Coffee Time Romance gives Quench My Thirst  4-cups

Contemporary Erotic Romance
Rating: 4 Cups
This is an interesting story. Trevor and Damien have no need to sleep with
women for money. They both have successful careers and are handsome enough
to attract any number of women. The author writes a hot love scene, but the
real story is in Trevor's wake-up call and in him re-evaluating his life. I
really liked Claudette and Paige; both are very strong characters, and Paige
refuses to feel sorry for herself, despite her scars. Marissa is pathetic,
as is Sister Jenkins. One is trapped in a brutal marriage, but spends all
her escape money on a prostitute; and the other feels superior to the women
of her church, but has to pay a man to sleep with her. I also felt sympathy
for Agnes; she really has valid reasons for her behavior but softens as her
friendship with Damian progresses. Though the blurb is misleading, this
story had me hooked and kept me reading until the end.....

*******HIGHLY RECOMMENDED*******

When I picked up R. Moreen Clarke’s novel Quench My Thirst and saw the words WARNING! This is a REALLY HOT book. (Sexually Explicit). I thought to myself “Oh Boy!” I have to confess, I don’t care much for erotic literature. I have found in the past that most of it is just a lot of sex, sex and more sex and very little story, plot, and/or character development. I know, I know occasionally it is nice to indulge in mindless entertainment but after a while that can get a little old. However, much to my chagrin, that was not the case with this book. I have to admit that this was a clear case of one should not judge a book by its cover. Trust me, from the moment you pick up Quench My Thirst and read the prologue you will be hooked until the very last chapter.

During the day, Trevor Calhoun and his best friend Damian Adams, are successful businessmen but at night, they fulfill well-to-do women’s sexual fantasies for money. However, after two years, of all the sex and man could possibly want, Trevor has found that what once used to be fun and exciting has now become exhausting and a burden. In a business where it is important to remain emotionless and un-involved Trevor begins to find himself caring about his clients. He makes a tough decision to get out of the business but just as Trevor is ready to tell Damian, he becomes embroiled with an overly obsessed client and her abusive husband, which ends with devastating results.

Quench My Thirst is a wonderfully written story, full of titillating sex, drama, and a well-developed story that will keep the reader interested. What I especially liked about R. Moreen Clarke’s novel, is not only the story but her characters as well. She gives you insight into each characters motivation -- why they do what they do. From the friendship of Trevor and Damian and why they chose to prostitute themselves to their highly successful female clients and why they chose to hire someone for sexual favors and fantasy fulfillment. Quench My Thirst is a highly recommended read.

Quench My Thirst is hot, hot, hot!  R. Moreen Clarke has done a great job exploring the reasons several women, all highly respected, engage the services of a male prostitute, as well as his motivation in becoming one.  And just as he is having second thoughts about his lifestyle, events unfold that could bring everything crumbling down around him.  Once erotica fans take a drink from Quench My Thirst, theirs surely will be!~~Kathy J Marsh, author of The Aura of Love

The writing is comfortable. The story grabs your attention and makes you want to "holla" right from the top. R. Moreen Clarke masterfully weaves friendship, trust and insecurities into a story that you thought was only about the escapades of a handy man.  Sensual without being too erotic. Intelligent, witty and seductive, I like her style.
