For two years I've been faced with a serious case of writer's block. In my darkest hours often wondering if I'd ever complete a story again. Something was missing, whether it was motivation, inspiration or just being overwhelmed by work and personal situations. I found myself unable to sit at the computer for more than five minutes before frustration set in and I walked away.

I imagine there is a time and place for everything, and it wasn't the right time for me to continue all the stories that had been started in the last two years, but never finished. It would be easy to point the finger of blame at several people who didn't step up to the plate and fulfill the roles they promised to play in my writing career. However, that would be of little use or benefit to me and ultimately you, my readers.

What I have learned is that the spark of inspiration and motivation can be found at the most unexpected time and in the most unexpected ways. My inspiration recently is Lisa Fischer. Lisa Fischer released a music CD in 1991 entitled "So Intense". Many of the songs spoke directly to some of the feelings I'd held deep inside. I've been listening to Lisa a lot lately. She has inspired me, and I can honestly say I think my "Mojo" is back.

I want to thank those of you who without knowing it encouraged me with your positive reviews of Quench My Thirst and Promiscuous. Especially those who expressed your desire for another book from me.
